Biography
Rick began his golfing experience at the age of 7. He started playing in Warwick's Junior Golf and in Flint Junior Golf. He moved on to play High School Golf at Grand Blanc. Rick won his regionals in 1969 and his team finished third in the state, and again in 1970 he played and finished 4th in the state.

He caddied in his first Buick Open at age 13 for Mike Souchak. Rick also caddied on the PGA tour well into his teen years and then caddied for several other pro golfers such as Tom Weiskopf, Jack Nicklaus, Tommy Arron, Marty Fleckman, Mike Souchak, Babe Hiskey, Penny Pulz and a few more PGA and LPGA tour players.

After graduating from high school, he attended Saginaw Valley State University, and played four years of golf, captaining two years. Rick was also MVP two years, winning several tournaments, and was fortunate enough to play in the NAIA nationals his junior year. Later, he finished individuals in the top 30, and with his team, he finished 10th in the nation. After college, he graduated with a major in sociology and minors in business & english. He then pursued his dream of being a golf professional. Throughout his career he has been fortunate enough to play professionally in the Michigan PGA, Florida Club Professional series during the winter and in five Buick Open Tour events.

The highlight of his career was winning the State PGA Assistants Championship, with 9 under par. He has also been fortunate enough to win several pro am events while working as an assistant professional for Larry Mancour, his teacher through a majority of his career. He is currently now a teaching professinal in Grand Blanc giving many lessons throughout the summer. Normally, Rick does 15 - 20 trick shot exhibitions per year, and coaches the Grand Blanc's Varsity Golf Team in the fall. His main focus is teaching people correct fundamentals so all can go out and enjoy this great game of golf.
